Survival Bracelets

Bracelets for Sale:

For sale in this post will be a myriad of 550 Paracord Bracelets.

For those uninitiated into 550 cord. It is the military cord used for a myriad of things and has the name 550 cord for it's strength - 550 pounds.

For more on the cord look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paracord

The bracelets I am selling are made from 550 cord of various colors with a countoured slide buckle enclosure. The knots are held tight by melting the ends and a dab of superglue to ensure thier tightness and security. They are pre-shrunk, almost indestructable, and look pretty cool. Plus there is almost a foot of cord for every inch of bracelet. The 'Survival' idea here is that if you were ever in a survival situation (i.e. got lost) you would have abot 10 feet of high quality cordage with you - a commodity in short supply in the bush.

The Versions of Bracelets I Sell:
  • Version One: The first picture above is what the bracelet looks like in it's most pure form.
  • Version Two: The second picture is a dual color version.
  • Version Three: The third picture is a single color version with a double underlayment for a more beefy look and a little more cordage.
  • Version Four: The fourth picture is a dual color version with double underlayment.

The last picture shows the difference between single underlayment and double underlayment for a comparison.

Colors:

Please see the post below this for a picture and list of current colors.
Price:
The price for a bracelet is 16 dollars shipped (to the lower 48) with some added for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. For every bracelet beyond one - add 14 dollars.
How to Order a Bracelet:
  • Step One: Decide what version you want with what color or color combination. If you want a color combo - be sure to note what color you want as the dominant color (inside) and what you want as the outside color (outer lace).
  • Step Two: Measure your wrist (if you do not have a flexible tape measure - simply use a string - mark the string and lay it next to a rigid tape measure). Add an inch to this measurement and give me the total. An inch, I have found, makes the fairly ridgid bracelet lay comfortably and look right.
  • Step Three: Paypal a total with instructions to jmoulenbelt@hotmail.com

Feedback:

Ebay: Name: 'Talfuchre' - Over 100 positive feedbacks - Zero negative.

p.s. That double underlayment single color bracelet was made by someone else - I didn't have one of my own for picture purposes. I will change this as soon as I make another one.

Up Close and Personal!

I wanted to post up some close up shots of a Dual Color Survivale Bracelet. It shows how the knots are tied, secured, and made. It also shows the contour of the buckle.
